If players are going to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their "job", then they need to be happy. Otherwise, it is a miserable life for them during a time in their lives that should be filled with joy.

I agree, not sure why we assume the coaches are at fault. Sometimes I think it is the mentality of these young kids. They are used to playing video games where if things go wrong they can just hit the reset button and star over. It doesn't work that way in the real world.

Williams will play in the NFL barring injuries. He should have gotten more carries this year. If we lose him it will be a major screw up!

I really miss guys like Paul Thompson, Broyles, Madu, Murray etc; guys that would line up anywhere they were asked just to be able to play and help win a game.

Even a blind squirrel will find a nut from time to time and if you think about it there has been so many rumors posted that were not true that they took the time to squash. Usually pretty good about giving up info as they collect it.

Like I said earlier "where there's smoke there's usually fire". If Williams leaves OU will have lost half of their D-1 RBs who were good enough to play and contribute this year. So many have on this board been trying to protect or discount the role of the coaching staff in the problems we had this year but after how our O- and D-coordinators did their job this year don' count me in that group.
