I also noticed that Williams fumble in the last game was from a direct crown of the helmet right on the ball. Not many pro running backs would hold on to it in that situation either. He must of been hurt on that play or in practice since the game, because he didn't come back in afterwards.

I also have to agree with JetDoc. I thought Williams was starting to show some pretty good signs as the season was progressing. IMO, most of the times when he didn't look to good, there were multiple defenders in the backfield and he literally had no where to go.

Not sure I could agree with that. I think we saw flashes of a real good RB at times this year. Of course his touches were few as he was not treated the same if he fumbled versus Whaley. I think Williams could have a breakout year next year and if he does our RB situation would look good as I see their productivity improving with an expected strong OL next year.

If a player wants to transfer, I say don't let the door hit ya'. Maybe he is transferring for good reasons or for poor reasons, either way - why would you want to be around someone who is unhappy w/ their "job". Not me! While I am disappointed in one respect, it is best for unhappy people to go find their own happiness.

If players are going to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their "job", then they need to be happy. Otherwise, it is a miserable life for them during a time in their lives that should be filled with joy.
