I'd rather have Brent's experience in the Big12 than Mike's at this point. The offenses have changed quite a bit in the last 8 years. The two of them together could be great but if Brent leaves I think we might have a long road to hoe

Dean is a has been guy in the local market. Guys like Teddy and Dusty are the future. If you want real informatiom go to James Hale. Al Esbach has been phoning it in for years without doing any real work that it takes to be on top of things.

Say what you want about Dean but I know for 100% certain that Dean has a solid relationship with Brent. His relationship with Brent is his best within the program. I don't think that he has discussed it with him. Venables and his wife are very entrenched in the Norman community. I remember when the K-State rumors were floating around after Prince was fired that Venables was in Kansas. A good friend of his wife was keeping everybody informed. That is how information comes about sometimes. I can't tell you how many times coaches wives have told me things. Nothing really damaging or reckless mind you. I remember Kevin Wilson's wife telling me they were going to implement the no huddle back in summer '06. Bomar getting booted delayed that a year though.
