Mike Stoops as offensive line coach? You've got to be kidding. He's a defensive coach. It would be like having Cale Gundy coach the DL.

Or coaching the running backs? Just because someone has expertise in one area doesn't mean he can't have talents in another.

The offensive line pass protection is second to none this year. We are primarily a passing offense so I don't think I want any offensive line coach changes. We are running the ball better than last year, but the problem is our red zone short yardage offence struggles immensely, running and passing. That goes back quite a few years and several coaches. That cost us a NC against Florida. I hope in time we can fix that.

We don't seem to have a jumbo set anymore? I don't recall who the OC was but Kejaun Jones was our power back. I thought Calhoun would have been our power back if he had stuck around.

About the red zone, it would certainly help if Heupel called plays that don't require the O-line to run block 9 defenders. From what I could see we were outnumbered. Beyond that, we didn't get off the 1st level to block the 2nd level.

KU was clearly loading the box in the red zone almost daring us to pass. The swing pass to Whaley was a great call and he would of scored if he would have caught the ball. A little play action could have really helped in those situations last night. And yes, Millard tripped in the end zone last night, but after reviewing that play several times in slow motion, I believe the reason he tripped was because Landry's throw was behind him and he was trying to stop to catch it.

Let's just face the fact that we weren't sharp last night on offense. As has been stated in numerous threads today, you can't be at the intensity level of the texass* game every week. The great teams find a way to win when they aren't at their best. When the Defense got serious in the second half, they played lights out. If we get to the NCG, and the D plays like that, we'll be in any game against any team in the country.

Use the dang jumbo set and give the ball to Millard. That dude is such a physical specimen it's a shame he's being used less than he was during his true frosh year. Yes, I have a man crush on him; because he's freaking good!

OU went to the smaller faster offensive line when WVU ran around them.
Even then OU couldnt punch it in against UF with those same NFL sized lineman?
Watch this if you have the UF game on tape and recent redzone activity. We take way too long getting the play in, defenses have the time to get set. The advantage of our fast paced offense is lost.
Maybe scripted plays in the redzone would help? ,possibly hand signals too, because the noise especially at FSU didn't help.
