Why is Tyler Caldwell, a 2 time All-American transferring *

from OU to OSU? He is a 2 time All-American and is just a sophomore and will have 2 years remaining to wrestle for OSU.
Anyone know why?

I believe from what I was told by a friend close to the wrestling program was that once Coach Henson wasn't retained he decided to leave as well.

If he wants to leave that his business. But if I were OU I would do everything possible to prevent him from landing in stillwater.

I agree that OU should try to prevent this from happening. I remember a few years back when a poke wrestler transferred to OU. He only had one semester of eligibilty left but OSU prevented him from competing again.

Yes, Dave was the gem of his recruiting class, went to OSU, left as a soph and was going to wrestle @ UCLA with Mark, then that program was cancelled thereby allowing him to gain eligibility immediately and thats when he and Mark came to OU.
That's who I am... a Sooner.

How funny, I remember seeing Newby play at Willie's in Stillwater several years ago. I can't remember if it was a band or just him by himself but he was pretty good I recall.

The band was "Navel Orange" back in the day. Jacob is/was a good vocalist. I have no idea what he is doing today, though.
