What happens if WV can't.....

  • Get out of the Big East for 2012?

Does OU have a back-up plan for the 2012 schedule?

I just think the holdup is a money thing, just throw in more of it.

  • I wouldn't worry too much about it right now. West Virginia's argument is it's not the original Big East and since things have changed, the contract should be nullified. They don't expect to have to sign anything or wait the 27 month period.

Here's a pic of their practice basketball court...they are ready to get out of there and are feeling pretty confident I'd say.

Yea Green I would say that practice court just about says it all. I also agree with you that after all the other teams that left the B-E it wouldn't be too hard for them to make a case that the B-E didn't live up to their end of the contract.

  • Just wondering do Syracuse and Pitt have to wait out the 27 months? If not, seems like that right there alleviates the "waiting period" discussion.

I've always said that if a rule doesn't apply to everyone equally then it is not really a rule.

  • Welcome WVU, we want teams that are relivent. They put a whipping on OU twice now. I still remember Hostetler. The Fiesta was a blow out.
