Thanks for the writeup. The only recruiting position I scratch my head on is the OL. OU offered neither one when they made unofficial visits (Skipper and Campos).

First of all, Canyoneer commends Mr. Hale on the best insight into the Sooners recruiting perspective he has seen for a long, long time. Although Canyoneer cannot and will not comment directly n this board because of his employment contract and rules for his school (which he wrote)I can tell you he was impressed and has been impressed with the quality and quantity of work here. Since Mark has headed to Africa and is working 14 hours a day 7 days a week .and chasing the beautiful Italian I have been pretty much using Canyoneers insight to write here as best I can.

I can tell you that Kish is making a name for OU both in Cali and Arizona. And that is huge for the short run and long run. There are inroads being meet by OU as well in Denver. I wish they would spend a little more time in Utah and steal a couple of Tongans from BYU and Utah every year, but you cannot be everywhere.

This recruiting year is going to be tremendous for OU, one of the best ever. Just wait and see.

PS-Marquel Combs, probably one of the top 5 DT's from the JUCO ranks this year has committed to Mississippi. But, if he plays as well as I think he will this year he might get more interest from Shipp. And if Mr. Shipp focuses on Combs that Mississippi commitment may disappear like the wind.
