It's interesting that Brown and Jones are both talking to OU but I just don't see in the long run that we get them. Brown's opportunity at Texas is so good at Texas that he will be in their top 3 immediately. Even Gerald McCoy didn't play his first year. Jones is a physical possession guy who dominates HS players but runs a 4.7 on his best day. We have an equally physical guy in Metoyer with much better speed. It will be hard for Jones to get on the field in his first two years at OU.
The pressure and assurances these two will get at UT will be too much to overcome I think. The only thing that could change things is another tank job by UT down the stretch and I figure they will actually finish pretty strong.
