In case anyone needed reminded where you heard it first. It wasn't perfect but its pretty close.

Since a&m is as good as gone and the 16 teams conferences are right around the corner I believe the Big XII should be the agressor and look towards becoming the Big 16 (XVI).
A&M is gone so we're down to 9 we need 7 but I'm suggesting we drop a team. Baylor or Iowa State. And then ad a whole eastern division. (I realize dropping a team would be next to impossible but if Missouri leaves...)
Big XVI West Kansas Kansas State Missouri (Iowa State if they leave) Oklahoma Oklahoma State Texas Texas Tech Baylor
Big XVI East Clemson Florida State North Carolina Duke Virginia Tech Georgia Tech West Virginia Fill in the Blank (Norte Dame, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Uconn, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina State)
What do you think??? Nobody seems to ever mention the ACC and Big East in all the expansion talk. Why can't we be the ones to pick them apart?

So what you’re saying is that being you wanted to start a dialog nine months ago about us taking all the ACC into the Big-12 you now feel that you are at least as reputable as the psychic hot line. I think we need to travel down that road a little further before somebody can start the “I told you so game”. Out of the 14 schools you named only one has made it to the Big-12 so far and I can’t seem to find TCU in your list anywhere. Of the other 13 schools only two are in talks with the Big – 12 right now from what I read. Of those schools not talking to the Big-12 right now the only ones I’m hearing getting any talk at all is Miami, Norte Dame and Virginia Tech. Not saying the others aren’t being thought about just saying I haven’t heard any talk about them. Remember hitting a target at ten yards with a sawed off shotgun may be good but it doesn’t make you a marksman. Now from all the writing I see on the wall it looks like if we go to 12 teams the next two are going to be Florida St. and Clemson. After that, who will be the next two teams taken to bring the Big – 12 to 14 teams, if that happens? Now don’t come up with a list of 8 or 10 teams that might make it just name the two who will play in the Big-12 and be the 13th and 14th teams in the conference and if you want to look really good give the date or at least the year you think this will happen.
