If the coaches felt like Jackson was going to be great why are they recruiting so many receivers. I think he sees that the coaches don't think he is really good enough hence all the efforts to sign other WRs!!
sigh, i dont really believe "he's not good enough" and what bothers me is OU, like everybody else, can go from THE CUPBOARD IS OVERFLOWING WITH FUTURE NFL DRAFTEES to , oh, someone's grades fail them and they dont get in at all, finally get in, and get injured, get injured their senior year in the first game, transfers because they want more playing time, or their homesick....ad infinitum.
i guess i do agree that the OU coaches see all know all, and try and hedge their bets against injuries and against a workouts freak who cant hold onto the ball in a game. wouldnt want to be in their shoes about who they offer.
it's disappoining that Jackson transferred due to playing time....kinda ME ME ME ME, not team team team. wish him well, and got to keep the trust in the Stoops machine .
