WCWS: #4 OU vs #1 Cal Game Thread (OU WINS 3-0)

Game is on ESPN2 now.
OU left 3 on through the first two innings.
Top 3rd, OU scores 1 but at one point had the bases loaded with 0 outs. Two fielder's choice plays at home followed by a ground out to short resulted in 3 more runners left on.
Going to the bottom of the third, OU up 1-0.

Oh I also saw an interesting fact. Keilani threw a fastball at 73mph from 43ft. If you convert that to baseball speed at 60ft, its equivalent speed is 103mph! Wow....

Dang it, solid single with runners on 1st and 2nd but we crushed it so hard we failed to force the play at the plate.

Schultz hits an infield fly to end the inning. OU has left NINE runners on base through 4 innings and is 2-11 w/ RISP.

Typical softball I think. Definitely a pitchers game, even more so than Baseball. And Ricketts was a little tight in the 1st/2nd but has loosened up and is looking fantastic. I can't believe here ERA is like 0.18 so far in the postseaon. CRAZY.

Nothing doing for the Sooner bats in the 5th, onto the bottom of 5 with the score unchanged.
Yes, typical softball but we're certainly not playing N. Texas A&M Beauty College here! Cal has some bats and Ricketts has shut them down completely.

Error on 1B (Chamberlain), Cal gets the leadoff runner on, who then steals 2nd.
1 out, and now deliberately walking Cal's best player Ariola. As Ricketts/Schultz intentionally walk the batter, the runner at 2nd steals 3rd. Runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out.
Ricketts strikes out the cleanup hitter, 2 outs. After another steal, runners at 2nd and 3rd.
RICKETTS STRIKEOUT #15! Gets out of the jam going to the top of the 7th!
