  • It's the ol' underpromise/overdeliver concept. Boring, I know, but these days you have media types (and probably some fans) with the "gotcha" mentality and they are just looking to throw a quote back into your face when you fail to live up to an enthusiastic comment you made earlier. Stoops handles this about right IMO. What else are you going to say that isn't predictable and non-inflammatory at the same time?
