I'm hell when I'm well.. And, I am never sick!
The two best professional rookies in 2010 and both from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma.
NCJIM brings up a good point: the relationship between Bob and Kevin. Realistically, A&M isn't likely to hurt us for awhile. If Kameel Jackson were going to transfer that's as good a place for him as any we could choose. Also ask yourself how many Iowa transfers have helped OU.
To me Kameel Jackson proved himself on the field. If he was nervous about the incoming WRs who are not here yet, he should not take the media so seriously. (That includes our eager hopes.) KJ - injuries aside (and who goes injury-free?) - is way ahead of anyone coming up behind him except Metoyer. I confess I haven't seen so much from Trey Franks as a receiver that I'd really put him safely ahead of Kameel.
I don't get it. There is a lot of the college iceberg out of sight. As my friends say of me all the time, "Maybe he had a brain event." They both say it.
He had 12 catches for 165 yards and no TDs. Including 3 for 45 in the insight. I refuse to believe those numbers can't be replaced. I know what you're saying but I think this is one of those instances where his value is being inflated only because him leaving.
Sumlin says he aint taking him because of aTm's WR situation (means they dont need him) and because of his off the field issues (dont know what that is). Also, I think he is flunking out at OU.
maybe he can enroll at phoenix university as a online student. That way he doesnt have to go to class.

ALBSOONER:Not sure which disproven speculation you are referring to??? I don't buy peace's argument that he was going to be ineligible w/o other input nor do I agree with his (IMO) classless post about Jackson. Whether or not a kid joins or leaves OU, nobody deserves to speak about a kid that way. Peace should be glad his old ass isn't looking at Kameel face to face and mouthing off like that.
I respect Jackson, A & M, and of course OU. OU wanted him to stay and contribute. It will be a loss; it is a fact. I don't bank on freshman coming in at WR. I expect it to take a few years to develop. I think when Kameel develops, he has the chance to be very good. I hope we can fill the void b/c we are super thin at WR. I don't count true freshman who don't even have a spring under their belts.
I wish him well.
alb what did I say hating on Kameel? I thought he was good and am very sorry he left. I think he could have helped but not going to practices in late spring and to class says he checked out a long time ago. I never said one derogatory thing about him.
