Once again the only ones complaining about Jackon staying are the suspected trolls
If he hangs, he will have a positive story to tell and a message for players coming in behind him who might think about quitting. I've never heard a story from an OU player who quit who didn't eventually say that it was a mistake.
Of course, if he doesn't hang it won't make any difference anyway.
its so refreshing to see someone like Kameel step up, addresses his challenges, and I hope his "p"s and q"s and dotted "i"s all get in order with hard work and dedication. he can make a real difference, and my hat is off to Mr. jackson. i cannot imagine the pressures of a high profile sports guy and throw in college and of course social environment.
looking forward to KJackson's many tds' come! Keep up your hard work and get back on the field! you have the support of OU fans everywhere.
I'm not 100% sure, but, I believe this was a lead type story for the ch 4 news when he tweeted he was leaving. If not, then it was definitely lead story for the sports part of their news. I wonder if him not leaving will get the same type of hoopla from the local anti-OU media types. Doubt it.
Big deal I say. Stay or go. Some of you say glad he stepped up and is taking his punishment. If he could have gotten accepted somewhere he would be gone. He isn't stepping up. The kid had limited choices. Yes, he needs to thank this program for sticking with him. I wish him luck but his story isn't all that great. Some of you act as though he is good. I saw below average at best. O well. He is here so good luck to him. But we don't need another IDIOT that will probably end up leaving or being asked to leave before too long. After last season's lost of so many players we don't need another CANCER on this team.
I trully do wish him luck. The kid needs a whoopin!
Everyone makes mistakes, especially teenagers. If he is willing to do the work and his team mates are OK with him, we should be to. I say welcome back and now go out and prove what you can do.
Beside his suspension and all that, he might still be in Stoop's dog house for a while 'til he proves to the coaches that he is really commited to the program. He might as well taking red shirt this year. Unless we get real thin on WR, I don't see he plays this year.
The two best professional rookies in 2010 and both from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma.
