That was not the intended translation. I'm simply pointing out another fact in response to the "yeah but LJ is smashing all the previous records" card. He is 3/4 of is way through his 3rd year of starting. More starts than any other QB in Bob's tenure. I wonder how many attempts he's had in comparison?

Landry is great. Is that what you want me to say? I really am saying that with honesty. I do think he's great. Do I think he can get us over the hump when we're in a tough spot and no one else is playing well? Does he have that Sooner Magic? I say no. And that was proven vs Tech. I simply wanted a discussion on the topic of system QBs and how that definition may or may not pertain to Landry Jones. The irrational reactions and name calling this topic has produced is a product of blind homerism and crimson glasses.

All be warned: If your thoughts and suggestions don't specifically pump sunshine, and plenty of it, up all our asses you had better be prepared for the wrath of some insecure Sooner fans.
