Yknow, I never understood the whole Jimbo Fisher as head coach-in waiting deal at FSU. It's not like his offenses were any good when he was their OC. Florida State consistently ranked in the bottom half of the ACC in total offense under Fisher, if I'm not mistaken. Now it turns out he's not much better as a head coach either. Go figure...

Fisher and Stoops have issue? Really? Wow they have the best recruiting classes in last 2 years, according to many, you'd think they would resolve their problems and take an advantage of the situation?

the hours college coaches put in from the beginning of fall practices (high school coaches too for that matter) is astounding - 90, 100 hour weeks for weeks on end. It is easy to see how little issues can become bigger problems when put under those circumstances. Mix in a more than healthy dose of the pressure of expectations of your team, donors, administration, fans, etc. plus the large egos of the coaches...and it is a recipe for dissent when a season does not meet expectations. My younger brother coaches hs ball in TX, pretty much you know from September through Thanksgiving you simply won't be able to reach him except via the occasional text or email. It is a brutally demanding profession.
