WOW! Didn't hear anything about this though we've known Habern has been hurt a few times. OL depth has taken a hit with Latu gone and Habern now concluding his career early.

What was a deep OL is fast becoming a thin OL. Best of luck to Big Ben in his future life experiences. Thanks for hanging in there as long as you did.

If you think it's disappointing for fans you've gotta understand that Ben is probably EXTREMELY disappointed. He did the right thing to have a normal life in the future. Let's hope he fully recovers!

Habern was really committed to being the best player he could be and to playing for OU. He must be crushed. This is devastating both for him personally and the team.

Does this make Ikard our center for the year. And who will be his backup and take his place at guard?

This is really a tough deal for Ben. He was working so hard fo get this far and he is so close to having a shot at playing at the next level. I don't feel as bad for the team as I feel for Ben's tough luck with injury problems. Wishing him well in whatever career path that he chooses to take from now on. One door is closed but another one is wide open. He is a young men with lot to go for in the future. Stay in school and get your degree Ben!
