You have no favorite boards.
I got an idea- you talk like a real man insulting David Boren who's been a great man for our University, our State AND our Nation- you know what a "real man" would do besides whine on a message board? They might go out and kick Texas' ass on the field. THAT way the LHN would have NO clout at all.
But then that's probably never occurred to any of you.
I may be all alone with this one, but I feel in the bottom of my heart that if JUST OU and Missouri approached the Big10, they would take JUST us two.....
If they still said no, then we get Dr. Tom to make it happen for us from the inside.

Why would there be reforms? We have no leverage.
Texas has taken a huge image hit in all this, they'll work as hard as they can to repair it. The only thing they won't touch is LHN...They'll share equally the 1st and 2nd tier dollars because it hurts OU more than them. They'll give in on high school high lights knowing that ESPN will fight that battle in court and probably win.
The poison pill will last as long as the LHN contract, when it's over and ESPN will either know if it's worth renewing or not, then Texas will be off to where ever they want to go to get a bigger share of either the Big 10 or PAC 12 new tier 1 and 2 contract.
