    This is ignoring the fact we mostly recruit against other great programs and we go after the creme-de-la-creme. You have to be a great recruiter here because you are going against the best. If you don't think so, you go recruit against Saban and Meyer.

    Just curious when is the last time we beat Urban or Saban for a recruit? None that I can think of so if that's what your going by then you are basically saying Brent wasn't a good recruiter right?

    Well, as far Alabama goes, just this year, it appears we beat them for the commitments of Durron Neal, Derrick Woods, Laith Harlowe, and Tre Metoyer (though he was a 2011 commit). As far as Urban goes, I can't really tell since he got back in coaching late. We beat them a fair amount.
