These stats are skewed. We get a lot of yards against the Utah and Ball States of the world then whif against real teams.

OL coaches come and go. The way we do things is Bob Stoops way. As we currently stand, we can recruit the top QBs, TEs, RBs, WRs, and to an extent OLs. Considering top OLs aren't really known for a few years, it's hard to say we don't recruit well there. We are decently represented in the NFL with OLs who passed blocked great at OU and maybe not so great run blocking.
Be careful what you wish for because sometimes you get Gary Gibbs.
One thing that always comes to my mind is how good Steve Spurriers Florida teams were every year, but he won one NC. In all the other years they would some how find a way to lose to inferior teams.

if you compare the coaching staff we have now to the coaching staff Bob originally brought in to Oklahoma that earlier staff would out coach and their teams kick the crap out of our present staff's team. it seems like when bob was first hired all he cared about was winning now it seems like he's more concerned with hiring his buddies or giving untrained coordinators their first jobs. i think that after the lsu game bob was not the same type of coach and that he does want to win a bcs national championship but he's not willing or able to make the needed changes on his staff to do this.
