I'm going to agree, Patton has to go if this line doesn't produce this season.
I also think Shipp's interior D-line has got to improve.

Some of you guys seem to forget the shape our OL and depth have been under much of Stoops' tenure. With Patton, we've improved our OL depth and produced some really good numbers on offense.
I don't see how anyone can look at our OL and it's 10 guys who can play and talk about getting rid of Patton. It's assinine.

.......wasn't the 'bell-dozer' gimmick created because the normal run game couldn't be counted on to get a yard or two anywhere on the field? UT is suppose to have a pretty salty defense this year. That should be a real test for the annual running game hype whether fact or fiction.

At this juncture, no, but Bob didn't make that comment with Johnson leaving a year early. We'll see if he is strong enough this year to warrant a first round pick. He has the size, athleticism, and coach to potentially be a high draft pick. I think he needs more strength and another year of experience at OT to be a high draft pick.
I also think Heupel threw the ball more because that's what he wants. There was no reason to ditch the run game in the Fiesta Bowl but he did.
