Was disappointed yesterday when James said he decided to stick it out. The fat lady appears to have a frog in her throat on this one.

The context of what James said is that OU would not offer unless a player contacted them and said he was going to leave PSU to go to another school. And since he was at PSU practice, it looked like he was going to stick it out.

Part of me thinks having any PSU kid come in will be more of a headache than it's worth with all the distractions and questions that will follow. Time will tell I guess.

Not bringing in an experienced receiver, that's been a starter at a major program, isn't a good idea when OU will have ONE wr that's played in a D-1 game available at the start of the season? I think it shows that the coaches feel like it has a chance to be a great year and they are covering themselves with the loss of Gardner.

I was talking about it wasn't a good idea for HIM! For us? Couldn't hurt to have quality depth! So I think we agree. He's a sure starter at Penn State- here? He may never even play.
