PAC-12 so-called Noah’s Ark model

  • Interesting aricle from New York Times:
Big 12 to Pac-12? Oklahoma Ponders a Move

Any thoughts about the PAC-12 so-called Noah’s Ark model

  • Well one thing it will allow will be for Sooner fans and Cowboy fans to travel together to away basketball games. In our state every fan has a great friend on the other side, whether we admit it or not. I foresee some "trips divided" where bedlam buds travel to Seattle and watch their Pokes play on Thu night and their Sooners on Saturday. Will only affect non FB sports.

  • They've always had it in sports other than football for USC/UCLA, Stanford/Cal, Arizona/Az State, Washington/Wash State and Oregon/Or State to travel in pairs to reduce the costs. Colorado and Utah, I'm assuming, will be paired together this year and any additions to the conference would continue a model that has worked in the past.
