It would be funny if Texas had to split the network coverage with OU and change the name to the PAC Ten southeast network for the pod. We would demand equal coverage. It would be a better deal to ESPN as they would envelope two schools in a network versus one. Longhorn fans would watch for UT and Sooner fans would watch for OU, and they would both watch each other to keep up with each other's business.
I would think the programming would be better with two universities versus one, of course the network would have to change its name and drop the crappy longhorn logo.
When you look at the big picture of college football since 1936, no program has achieved greatness as consistently as Oklahoma - ESPN.
