OSU - Stanford

  • I'd rather be lucky and win than good and lose. Andrew Luck was the best player on the field tonight, but he lost. I'm with Hook......when the Big 12 wins, OU wins. Congratulations Pokes.

  • Couple things
    1. Stanford has 3 time outs and is driving with plenty of time to score.
    2. Luck is on fire making 3 and long look easy on that final drive.
    3. Go score, don't burn up the clock and leave it to a freshman soccer guy.

I know their defense was gassed and didn't want the pokes to get the ball back but come on.

However, it looked to me like the aggies could have thrown to Blackman every down.

In the polls, no. In the computers, perhaps.

The average member of the sports press doesn't have any idea the Big 12 does well in bowl games, nor do the coaches.

No one voting in either poll thinks oswho was the superior team tonight. It was a great game and evenly matched, but in the end, the aggies got lucky, pure and simple. They did a good job of being in position to take advantage of a lucky break, but that's all it was -- a lucky break.

This site keeps good track. Hope KSU takes care of the arkies; at least in the MNC game the SEC will get a loss as well as a win for a push.
