We needed the OL to be a rock to break in new guys at WR. Suffice to say, if the guys with less exp on the OL don't get up to speed quickly, this could be a long season for Landry & Co.

I disagree a little bit KWest2- I think we needed the O Line to RUN BLOCK so we wouldn't have to pass every down and so that the Defenses couldn't stack the deck and take away the run meaning Landry will be sacked more too.

This is another kick in the nads.

That's the whole point. The OL being a rock is the foundation for both the pass and run game. In particular, OU has a ton of inexperience in the WR corps (as opposed to RB, where we've got good experience and depth). Further, we saw last year that Landry is not particularly apt at throwing on the move - which will be more common with a less sturdy OL. Simply put, the OL is now a question mark, whereas before it would have been a rock to assist with the other big question mark on the offense, the WRs.

We continue to lose lineman at this rate we will need our dl to play both ways
