"The Sooners have padded their statistical outputs by playing absolutely incompetent teams such as UTEP, Florida A&M and Kansas. " ATX's post above addresses that, but they also conveniently fail to mention that most of our opponents points were scored by defenses on a turnover or in blowout games with our 2nd and third units in. Additionally, there are no rushing TD's against our first unit, unless I am mistaken.

One thing to remember about OU's defense: Except for the KSU game OU has played nearly everyone on the roster in the 4th quarter. This is where most of the yards and points have counted. So, how about Notre Dame-have they played all their freshmen in the 4th quarter? I doubt it!

I'll give them Florida A&M, but the offenses of UTEP and Kansas aren't statistically any worse than Michigan St and Navy.
We've played offensive ranks (total yds/game):
#11 Texas Tech
#32 Texas
#42 K-State
#91 Kansas
#98 UTEP
??? Florida A&M (I-AA)Notre Dame has played:
#54 Miami
#62 Michigan
#79 Stanford
#80 Purdue
#83 BYU
#88 Michigan State
#101 NavyWho's been padding their stats?

No they normally play in the 1st quarter. Our secondary starts a TF and RS FR. First 2 off the bench are 2 more TF Shumate at nickel and Barrati at S. First DL off the bench is TF Sheldon Day. As you can see we are a very young D. Never heard of the site that published this, don't believe it cane from B&G.
