ND Fan Here My Thoughts On The Game

And just to let you know i know Texas is your biggest Rival but honestly Texas has been average over the last 3 years. Saying you beat Texas is like us saying we beat Navy or Purdue.

Do your shorthorn friends know you feel this way ? Someone should post this over at shaggybevo - I actually agree with youbiggrin

On another note the Point spread means nothing ! Texas was favored by 3 points when they played Oklahoma. We all know this was way off. I am taking Notre Dame + 10.5 for the win. You guys will be surprised when our Front 7 starts sacking Jones.

You need to learn to read lines, OU was favored. Jackass

  • SoonerSeif you right about the line I actually got it at -2 Okla. like I said easiest money I made was last 3 weeks betting on the Sooners. As for our Defensive front 7 all playing in the NFL Fox and Calabrese probably go undrafted but will get invites to a camp. Tuitt, Nix, Teo 1st rounders, Kap late in draft probably 5-7 rounds or could go undrafted, Shembo Id say if he keeps on this pace somewhere 3-5 rounds next year. Motta made a lot of money for himself this year. I think went from undrafted to as high as a 3rd or 4th rounder. Bennett Jackson not sure, K. Russell is a true freshman so no idea.

  • Good thread from top to bottom everyone. Goes without saying this is the best offense the Irish will have faced this year and it will be a real challenge for the Irish defense. But don't be surprised if they make this one HECK of a game. We have enough weapons on offense to surprise you (which would be a pleasant surprise to this old Irish fan lol) or anyone we play. Nice to see the Sooners and Irish facing off again. Saturday will be fun! peace

  • OU fans would you mind looking at the questions I asked last night and try to answer them? Thanks!

Think you nailed it. Very interested to see if Diaco brings more blitzes/ pressure. We have rarely blitzed this year. I think we have to bring a few more bodies early to get Jones dirty. Not saying we have to blitz to get pressure, but it would be wise to do so early to get Jones out if his comfort zone. OU fans please tell me how many carries/when Bulldozer is used during game situations? Strictly Redzone or what?

He's only used in short yardage situations and goal to go situations. Against Texas, we ran a little quick snap no huddle with it. The Belldozer is a big factor in why OU is one of the best redzone offenses in the country this year. I know everyone thinks they can stop the Belldozer and it looks simple but it hasn't been stopped yet. You might stop it once but we run it right after and it does the job. The only blemish in the Belldozer all year has been a fumbled snap at the KSU 1 yard line.

What other questions were there star? This is the only one I noticed. Most of us will welcome football discussions all day, but the arrogant smack talk is becoming ridiculous.

It's insufferable that's for sure. Would live a breakdown of each starting OL. Weight, strengths, weaknesses, and list from 5 being weakest to 1 being strongest. Would also like to hear what areas on OU's team concern you?
