James - Haven't seen much discussion here on this topic. It seems more and more likely that recruiting deregulation will occur, allowing for basically unlimited resources to be allocated to recruiting. SEC schools are hiring up tons of personnel to prepare for the change, and just today Texas announced hiring a guy from Alabama for a "Director of Player Personnel" position.
My question is: Do you have any insight as to how OU will proceed? What they will do to be ahead of the curve when this change likely goes into effect?

Not in the atheletic department. The football team is for all practical purposes financially separate from the university that being so If the football needs to expand its payroll to accommodate a larger recruiting depart they won't have a hard time funding it.0
