Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell just ran a 4.39 forty at the Oregon combine. Wow! Maybe the coaches need to reevaluate him again. It was posted on the screen that 14 schools have offered.

Best linebacker in Texas. Love getting Mastro, but if we strike out with everyone else and don't even offer Mitchell who is in Plano.... I'm really going to question the Tim Kish hiring.

According to James, OU is not recruiting Mitchell at this point. Makes you wonder,huh? But hey, the coaches know more than I do so I'll defer to their evaluations.

Yeah, and Texas didn't offer Quentin Griffin, Brodney Pool, Johnathan Jackson, and many other Texas high schoolers that have gone on to be great players here. I question the football knowledge of anyone who uses Texas's evaluation of a player as a basis of determining that player's worthiness of an offer.

They ARE recruiting him, but are yet to offer . (James only said that at this time he did not have an OU offer).
The process is more than just offers. OU is, and has been in contact with him.

Maybe, but being 16 or 17 years old, at 6'4" he has a lot of room to grow into an SEC type lb.
And Alan, I saw where James said that OU was still talking to him. Thanks for the correction.
