The thing that bugs me most about Landry is his zombie like persona. He can't possibly be a good leader with that demeanor.

I love this site, but wow the crap this is said on here is totally out of hand.. I will be at the Iowa State game and hoping we kick the crap out of them, and then we crash Bedlam.. 10-2 is an outstanding year.. And I hope we get there..

The standard at OU is championships. Bud did it, Barry agreed and did his part, and Bob acknowledged it from day one.
No you won't win or even play for one every year but this year was one of those years where everything was in place. Yes losing to Tech and Baylor was not acceptable. The blame is legit.

Disagree that Landry was OU's best player by far last nite. Bell was. LJ may have played the best of the others, but no one did anything special. And any starting Big 12 QB would have a good game (300+ yards passing) against the Baylor defense. The coaches (F) didn't help any but the offense lost the game more than the defense.

Landry brought the team back and had them set up for overtime.
The timeout and defense did not get them there.
I do believe OU would win in OT with the Belldozer working like it was.

Landry may be ready for the millions the NFL brings though. If he comes back, OU is a real contender next year. If not, a 2-4 loss team.

i would like to know who on this board is an NFL scout or works for an NFL player personnel division. Landry Jones is currently ranked 1-5 on all draft boards of NFL Teams, there is a lot of moving parts the offense ou runs. blocking,route running etc there is one thing that cant be coached for a QB arm strength and Jones has plenty of it, He will be playing on sundays!!
