I think he is talented enough. Remember, national ranking mean very little after they arrive on campus. Juaquin Iglesias started his whole career and was a 2 star. I bet Kameel stays in the rotation anyhow. He can run routes, block and hangs on to the ball; those are valuable commodities.

My prediction is that he stays in the middle of the pack, but stays relevant his whole career.

What about Reynolds, Woods, Shepard and Neal?

I have no clue who will play but the way I see it, OU is as deep as OU has been at receiver in a long time and possibly ever. The returning guys (Reynolds, Stills, Jackson and Franks) is a pretty solid set of receivers. Everything I have read about spring practice indicates Metoyer is the real deal and likely going to start. That gives OU a really nice 5 receiver group prior to Gardner, Woods, Shepard and Neal even joining the team. If Gardner is as good as he was reported to be, I could see both Gardner and Metoyer starting.

What is amazing is that OU does not lose a single receiver next season (unless someone goes to the NFL early).

Norvell has a huge task ahead of him this year. Making sure the best WRs with the best chemistry is on the field. I invision a rotation similar to basketball with more than one unit that plays as a whole. If done properly they could wholesale change their WR units to keep them fresh. They are two deep at least in every position with players of similar talent (if they pan out). not in order of starting units because in this system it would not matter- just my thoughts.

Unit 1 (3 wide set) - Meteoyer, Stills and Reynolds. Unit 2 Gardner, Jackon and Franks Unit 3 Woods, Shepard, Neal. (4 wide set) Stills, Meteoyer, Gardner, Reynolds. Unit 2 Woods, Shepard, Neal, Jackson. (5 wide set) - Stills, Meteoyer, Gardner, Reynolds, Neal. Lots of combination....a good problem to have...

This spring Metoyer has played wide receiver on the left side only, which I believe is the 'X' receiver so that he can learn that position very well. He has not worked in the slot, and while there has been talk about him playing there during his first year, that doesn't appear to be where he will play next season.
