No coach is going to tell you they are leaving until its a done deal. Why would they? I do think it's crazy if a kid commits for a coach other than the head coach. No way can you reasonably expect a position coach or even DC or the OC to be there you're entire career. You better be committing to the school first and the head coach second. Anything beyond just isn't reasonable as 90% of the assistant coaches strive to be a HC at some point.
