This is the most obvious question, yet there has never been a coherent answer. I think that Josh is a little over his head. You would think if we have a our two best receivers out, we may want to run the ball. Particularly against a defense thats vulnerable to the run. What do we get? Sixteen straight passes, no points and ample opportunity to play defense with no DEs and no pass rush.

I would like to see both Millard and Finch (or Williams) in the backfield and let BOTH actually carry the ball. Could also put Finch in motion to either side for a quick pass. In the bowl game I would like to see roughly a 50-50 ratio of runs to passes. (Obviously the game score could change that.)

I agree. We keep hearing about Millard getting more touches and we don't see it. Oh well.

Millard is FINE, but if you HONESTLY think he can gain yardage where Finch can't ? Then you're smoking some mighty fine stuff. Finch isn't the problem....

NEWSFLASH: ITS THE OLINE'S RUN BLOCKING. WIlliams? Good! Finch? Good! MIllard? Good. They are NOT the problem.

Understand what you are saying, but how do you know if he only touches the ball 1 or 2 times a game. He also might do much better wearing down a defense at 245lbs than Finch at 166lbs.

Is it because they need him as a blocker?

Two whole years have been wasted with Millard. Luckily he is a team player and will proudly do what is asked of him.

If he played for a team like Nebraska we'd be watching his highlights on Sports Center every week.

Very very few players his size have that athletic ability and skill set. I pray, for his sake, that he is utilized correctly for the next two years. He could be a great asset to an NFL team.
