What I mean is, I wish they would have recruited him harder. Dude is a stud. And JJ in the title was a typo. Sorry about that.

No you are thinking about the kid whose first name is Cody. I always thought Barrett was the best prepared QB in Texas including Swoopes but Josh thought otherwise and he is the coach.

I also think this guy was better than Swoopes. I could be wrong but I think I saw where Barrett was waiting on an offer and wanted to come to OU. I guess only the mods could answer that question. Are we on our third choice or second choice on quarterbacks.

Josh's strategy is to mov slowly with QB's evaluations and offers. We lose some good ones as a result. But he usually gets a good one and every once in a while a great one.

Hard to explain Josh's love affair and signing of Trevor Knight then. Trevor, IMO, is a poor man's JT Barrett. And that is not a slight to Trevor. I just think Barrett is better.

Trevor wasn't his first choice. That being said, must feel Trevor has potential to be a pocket passer. As Josh said in last weeks interview, mobility isnt a big factor. It's accuracy and making the reads.
