I've finally given up on Landry.

  • He is a good quarterback, but nothing more than Hybl with a better arm. It seems the true leader on our offense was Broyles, and it will take a while to see his leadership replaced. I don't fault the coaches except in recruitment as our biggest issue seems to be lack of "middle management." It is not the coaches underthrowing receivers, fumbling the ball, etc. Although some changes are likely needed to get away from this Leech-based offense that does not have the personnel (WR's) to function as such. Other than some key players, many of whom got hurt this year (Broyles, Lewis, Flemming) our team is very young in the skill positions and lines. I am looking two years down the line and would vote for bringing on our next quarterback to gain experience/leadership.
