We've had AT&T U-Verse for 3+ years and love it. Like any such application of technology, it has its deficiencies, but I've dish and cable and I'll not be switching back to either.

It's not that they show it, it's that they're requiring subscribers to pay extra on their monthly bills to fund it. I have U-verse and love it, but they'll get a nasty letter if they begin carrying it in the Dallas area and try to charge me extra for it. I'd also consider deducting that 40 cents each month from my payment. And I'd definitely say adios if the issue wasn't resolved.

Let them offer it to longhorn fans willing to pay, and leave the rest of us alone!

Had both dish and directv. Ditectv is much better. In laws have dish at our lakehouse and I have directv at home.

I just got Directv as they have an awesome promotion going right now - you get the NFL ticket for free this year (something like $385 per year) and their monthly prices are cheaper! Plus their HD channels are much higher quality. You can also get $100 each if you sign-up by referral. Can't beat it!
