Hawks, forgive us if we don't feel sorry for you about losing your tailback. We have lost 6 of our best 8 players the last 5 weeks of the season. The best running back in the big 12.....the best receiver in college football history.....the two all conference defensive ends...Not to mention Fleming to the Knee injury and Wort every game for a half....so no whini
ng....lets get it on.
Have the Hawks been whining?? Seems like they have been a rather quiet fanbase..
The bottom line is that Iowa is going to do what they always do. They are going to come into the game quietly, they are going to work hard on every play, play possession football, and play smart, looking to wear OU down and waiting for OU to make mistakes to beat itself.
IF OU doesnt focus, has no patience, and tries to force things offensively, it will be a very frustrating day. If the Defense does not play solid fundamental football, wrap up tackling and play mentally tough, it will be an even MORE frustrating day.
I totally agree. But would anyone be truly surprised if we lost? I mean, like we wre surprised by the TTech loss? I dont think so. BS has proven he can lose to anybody and , for that matter, beat most anyone too.
