Haas/ Stoops finish 4th in ProAm

The thing I enjoyed was they beat Tiger/ Romo after all the publicity about that pairing. That had to be a very enjoyable trip for Bob.

Is this the first tournament like this that Stoops has played in? I can’t remember hearing about any others. If he enjoys these tournaments I would enjoy seeing him and maybe Sam playing in the celebrity golf tournament up here in Lake Tahoe sometime. All the big names in sports and entertainment make it up here every year and they would make a great addition.

Will there be any replay of the pro am on TV? I've been looking all over for it. I'd imagine that it would get fantastic viewing with all the different people from all over the country...not to mention all the top golfers in the world.

Don't know that a replay would do you much good. Most of the time cameras were on Phil and Tiger. They showed very little of the amateur play. Phil was on fire today however so that might be worth it. Didn't see Bob once today on the telecast. Bummer!!

Bob was featured on CBS yesterday during the tournament -- interviewed by Jim Nance and Nick Faldo, including a slo-mo analysis of his swing, all the while with Boomer Sooner playing in the background. Sorry you missed it.

Saturday must have been amateur day. They featured amateurs throughout the telecast, interviewed them and broke down their swing with them. Speaking of which, Belichick is a bum. Wear a freaking jacket or some rain gear at Pebble, not a hoodie with the sleeves cut off.
Sunday was all about Tiger and Phil, they maybe showed 3 or 4 shots by amateurs all day.

He carried Haas in the pro-am. I'd rather he beat Saban on the football field and I would presume Saban plays less golf during the year than Bob.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I would guess that all Sooner fans would "rather he beat Saban on the football field." It's a shame that keeps you from enjoying Stoops' moment at Pebble for what it is. It's called getting a life.
