Much has been “tweeted” about the Sooners performance this year especially the play in the Cotton Bowl and some former players have even gotten into the act. Stoops says that he could care less.
“Why would I have a response to what they (former players) say,” said Stoops? “Why would I have an opinion on their opinion? I mean it’s disappointing and I don’t even know how to speak to it because I don’t know what was said but in the end, it’s not surprising in today’s world because everybody has got something to say.”
This disappoints me. When Bob first came to OU-he embraced the tradition and welcomed all of the players back into the "family". Now he doesn't care what they say? Hmmmmmmm.
This part just flat pisses me off. How arrogant and insobordinate can you be ? So the fans and the ones that pay his salary, don't mean chit. I've seen speeches Bob gave that brought tears to your eyes. but I think he's got to big for his britches now. He wasn't saying that when he interviewed for the job.
I do like the way he talks to Hoover.
Tom Wort should have never been at MLB in the first place. The kid is way to small and was either out of position, getting blocked or blowing a coverage all the time. Tom Wort is the last person who has any reason to be angry about this year!
well one good thing is we will be without some of our complainers next year, surely they hate the program and stoops so much they will go up north or to some sec team, sure we have some problems but to continually call our players and coaches names, not good fans, just people who wanna spout off

When you 'read' you 'hear' the inflection you THINK was being used.........and it's wrong. I did not 'hear' his speech, so I'm not going to pass judgement on what said and what it 'sounds' like he's implying. I personally believe he doesn't have answers.....I'm hoping in talking with Joe they will come to some conclusions and look to 'right the OU ship.' I'm depressed....I think he is too!
