  • KU - phenomenal. Hats off to the Hawks. They demonstrate year after year why they are one of, if not the very best, program in the country.

  • I grew up in Kansas and I know as many of you do, the folks in Kansas are as passionate about KU roundball as we are about OU football. That is why that program is where it is and why 16-18K show up every time they open the doors of the Phog.

  • The only reason I even tolerate KU is Bill Self and Edmond guy. I truly hate how the Big 12 kissess KU ass in basketball and UT's in football.

Man can Sullinger whine he already has that NBA " I never do anything wrong" whine down. he is a too short power forward with no back to the basket game.

You're even nicer that I'm being about KU. I'm not a Kentucky or Calipari fan, but I hope they wipe the court with KU.

As far as I'm concerned, KU hoops should be renamed the JayHorns. Same arrogance and holier-than-thou attitude, and it's been that way since I was in junior high back in the early 70's. I've also been to Lawrence for a game - and I left there disgusted with that moral superiority they tried to claim (it also didn't help that we lost that night in '79, but we did roll them twice and finished three spots ahead of them for the title).

  • .....sadly, I don't think they will have the same luck tonight against Kentucky!

They don't have a chance. Kentucky is way too good. I live in Lexington and can honestly say the UK fanbase is the most loyal and craziest fan base I have ever seen.

  • These refs are never going to let KU get back into it. They're being mugged on every possession.

That's an interesting perspective on the refs you have. I am not sure I agree.

I think the refs let a good amount go as to ensure they didn't become the focal point of the game. I think there were some fouls on either side that fortunately weren't called...they let the kids play.

KU couldn't get back in the game b/c UK is too good. UK has a couple of levels that they still couldn't have risen to in the 2nd half - if pressed.

Hats off to KU..they are good but they are no where near the team that UK is...it was really something special to watch. Davis is a force on D, Jones is solid, Kidd-G cannot be stopped, Lamb was lights out, and Teague had a few moments and distributed the ball well. Miller provided some decent plays off the bench. Total team effort.

    Absolutely.

I have lived in Lexington the last 26 years and they are as passionate about BB as we are about OU Football.

This was their 8th BB NC.

It is beginning to appear that Calipari's "one and done" strategy is viable.

If anyone was getting mugged it was UK-but to the ref's credit they let the players decide the game for the most part.
