The team fought their butt off tonight vs A&M. Unfortunately, Galloway decided to leave Okert in waaaay too long. Okert pitched great tonight and after throwing 4 great, great innings, he walked the bases loaded. You'd think it'd be time to make a switch? Nope, next batter hits a game winning sac fly to end the game in extras. I don't want to take away from the effort this team played with tonight and beating Wacha is nearly impossible to beat but this this exactly why people complain about Galloway. I have no idea what he was thinking leaving him in.
Sorry for the rant.

Crikey...sounds like we lost an opp to pull one out in an exciting way. When we are playing a team that is "better", we cannot afford to have those mistakes from the skipper. That is disappointing...but maybe the team is pumped up, knows they can compete due to the extra innings, and can pull one or two out this weekend.
Thanks for the update!!!
Several of Sunny's teams have peaked at the right time and finished strongly. Some have not. It will be interesting to watch. It seems all or nothing. Either Sunny has them engaged or loses them.
The two best professional rookies in 2010 and both from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma.
It is spelled Golloway, not Gallaway.
I've gotten used to that misspelling of our baseball coach's name. But unfortunately, it also reminds me of a certain media person in the DFW named Galloway (Randy). Barf!
Seriously, that Galloway, nicknamed "Grandpa Urine" because legend has it he wet himself while drunk at Texas Stadium, is darn lucky that Barry Switzer didn't beat him to a pulp during Switzer's NFL tenure.
I was a letter off. Is it really that big of a deal?
For the record, I've been to around 10 games this year and i live an hour away before you try the "real fan" card.
I wasn't being critical - just pointed out that a guy named Galloway was a real pain for a certain former coach of ours, and from what I hear, OU in general.
That wasn't directed towards you. Lol
Mr.Webster strikes again!!Go Sooners!!!!!!!!
