As reported first by James & OUI, tweets now confirm Levenberry has received his written offer. It appears as if it came today. Maybe I'm just an optimist, but to quote Hutch, this would be HUGE! Really hopeful on this one.

What am I missing? I thought he was offered before Brent Venables left. And when he did, things cooled off. But I thought he has always had an offer.

I believe back then they can only verbally offer. I thought when BV left he cooled on us and this no official, written offer. I could be wrong, but that's how it reads to me per the tweet.

E.J. is the linebacker that I've wanted to come to OU since I first read about him on this site just after the last class was put to bed. He would be a monster get if he comes to OU. Come on down to Norman E.J.

He is supposedly a verbal to Florida State, but I think he has been to the OU camp once or twice. For some reason, I think his dad is military, I would sure love to get this kid.
I also like the fact that he is from a DC suburb. 5 million people in an area smaller than OKC.
