Also, while we are on the Whaley subject, if you don't mind if I tag a question on? Is he on scholarship now? I'm sure this has been answered and I knew they said he was getting one but I must have missed the official announcement.

I have no inside knowledge but I thought his ankle injury was very similar to Adrian taylor's injury in the sun bowl. AT was not the same his senior year and was gimpy all year. If Whaley does not recover completely, I have to guess that his playing days are over because he would have no cutting ability whatsoever. I hope I am wrong and Whaley makes a full recovery and has a fantastic senior season.

From what I remember, Dom's injury was not nearly as grotesque as Taylor's. I don't have any inside knowledge either, but I don't think it was the same type of break/injury.

I believe taylor has a tib-fib fracture with an ankle dislocation.On Whaley he had an ankle fracture but since it is a distal fracture can't rush the rehab. Bones are made to heal so Whaleys injury not as bad as Taylors.

I hope recovers 110%. I feel like I only got a taste of what he can do. On a side note I recently found out that Dom's mom is my sister's supervisor in Afghanistan. Small world.
