It is not all that unusual for college coaches to set out a year after they lose their job. That happens a lot of times.

This is a good job for Willie, Auburn sought out Mark Stoops for the same job, except MS was going to get the CO-DC title.

When it was originally announced that Martinez was leaving his DB coach position they at OU including James tried to spin it as moving on to a better opportunity. At the time I said it was BS. Many on this site disagreed. Now that the dust has settled it appears he was let go and now weeks later will find a job. I can't understand why Bob just didn't come out and say he was letting Willie go to make room for Mike instead of this "Bob has never fired a coach".
