No one knows for sure but I would like OU to enlarge their stadium and find out. The states population keeps growing as well as the number of OU graduates.

I think it would be same as today. For big games we sell out, but there is always some empty seats for lesser opponents. We can call it a sell out as all tickets are "sold", but actual game attendance varies by opponent.

I would like us to expand in order to compete with the ut's, michigan's, ohio state's, and others that promote holding power of stadium. Look at usc they can say they will seat over 100,000 - never do, but like to use that as recruiting tool.

As a season ticket holder who sees all the people selling tickets every game day, I don't believe so.

As one who doesn't get home from the night games until after midnight or starts before breakfast time to travel to the morning games, I attend too many games where I hear those that live within minutes of the stadium giving their reasons for not coming or leaving at the half being that it is too hot, too cold, too early, too late, too close to a holiday, too something.

I am just hopeful to "sell" out half of our stadium for the spring game and that won't happen in all likelihood. Unfortunately, many of the other elite programs have much better spring attendance. Bama sells to capacity of a much larger venue. To me, that is a good barometer for "fan fever". We have great fans but just not at that level...yet?

Unfortunately it is all about money at OU. Ticket prices are way too high for the quality of the games and then they require high donations to have a decent seat. If OU played Texas home and away it would definitely push ticket sales, but since we go to Dallas every year it takes away from our home schedule.

I can get a seat easily by going outside the stadium. I could only imagine what it would be like with 16k more seats. It would probably be hard to get inside the stadium with all the scalpers that would be outside the stadium.
