Cortez Johnson commits and transfers to OU

Cortez Johnson, called by Mike Stoops as one of the best players he has ever recruited, has transferred to OU. He has to sit out a year, but will have three to play. Kid is a major talent and is exactly what Mike wants in his DB.
Great weekend for the Sooners, and if they get Jalen it might get better. We'll see.

Does he count against the annual shollie count or just the 85 total?

Things are certainly going in the right direction! It would be nice to have about a dozen or so committed by the time fall camp rolls around. We need to leave 6-8 for those that will decide during and after their Senior year. There may be a few good late bloomers out there.

SW you're 100% right.
There are ALWAYS late bloomers (as seniors), esp along the Offensive and D-Lines.
