have yet to qualify ?????
This post was edited by James Hale 15 months ago
I am not worried until summer camp.
so our top 2 dt prospects may never make it on campus????
Here we go....
worse case senerio. The 2 never qualify and next year we wind up with phillips, peterson, anderson at DT. Peterson has a minor injury and wont play, anderson gets suspended again and we wind up with Corey Nelson at DT.
Better keep knocking on doors until we have a verified player coming in.
Does Baylor have any DT commits we can steal?
Nope but there are still some out there.... love powervault's take on this...... IMO one way or anther 3-4 DT's will be at OU....
I'm trying to be optimistic, but if I ran my business like this, I'd have my walking papers.
Shipp has got to produce some players.
Thought everyone knew Huggins was a grade risk. It was pretty well advertised from the get go. Russell needs to graduate. We have had a couple of JUCOs not make it to campus, but we have had a lot more that have. No reason to act like someone's been lying to you about their situations.
My educated guess is that you already knew the answer to this and you were just asking to help satisfy your agenda. Well played!
I don't care if it's his agenda or not. With regard to OU football, this is a true concern. The pumpers act like it is problem solved b/c we commit the 7th best juco d-tackle, a 2 star d-tackle, and a A&M reject. Now, we find out the juco is not coming at semester and our quality dt is signing with a junior college. If this bunch of news isn't alarming to you, then nothing will be.
But, on the bright side, we have 27 wide receivers on the roster and some of them are really good players.
All commits that have not enrolled at semester have not yet qualified. Some of those are DTs. Some commits are more likely than not to make it. Some that we believe might not make it probably will. Some that we believe will make it probably won't ... same as it ever was.

If it is your business, who gives you your walking papers?
Who is this quality DT that is signing with a junior college? All I've heard is Huggins has not qualified yet, not that he won't.
His coach said he will double sign.. With OU and a junior college.. Considering our recent history with close calls, I don't like our odds.
huggins is going to double enroll. He is visiting a juco next week
I don't think he will double enroll, just sign two Letters of Intent.
Warren Buffett answers to no one within Berkshire. Comical to suggest otherwise.
It's very simple, my employer evaluates my job performance, let's say it's sales, and I'm not making my numbers for three straight years? He's going to find somebody that can!
DT is a need at OU, has been for three years.
Shipp hasn't been close on Any of them except for Manning!
He got Huggins because it just didn't look like he'd qualify at ATM!
Not trying to be a problem but I knew nothing about Quincy's situation. I thought he was coming in for spring ball. The fact that he isn't does cause me to worry a little because we have had problems in the past with certain JUCO's.
I knew Huggins had low grades because that was the reason that a&m told them they couldn't take the risk on him.
