I'm not a numbers person, so my comment was not based on a comparison of stats. It is just my belief that this is not a vintage year for Heisman candidates.
Manziel is the best of the three. I look forward to our defense testing itself against him.
I am the morning DJ on WOLD
Yeah you guys looked UNSTOPPABLE against the only two good defense you played all year.... (13 points against ND and 19 against KSU).
No doubt you guys would have done better against Florida and LSU's defense....
Maybe Manziel should take notes from the OU offense???
Again, is it that the big 12 offenses are just THAT prolific OR could it be that maybe the Big 12 defenses are just THAT bad???
You guys put up huge numbers against OSU, WVU, Baylor etc but couldnt break the 20point mark against either Notre Dame or KSU. Was it because your offense randomly got worse for those two games or was it because their defense was better than what you play in the rest of the Big 12 games??? You guys have played against two good defenses all year and lost both. We've played 4 and won two of them. One of them was the top defense/team in the country....on their home field.
It's fine if you want to point to the Florida and LSU games and say Manziel didnt do great...he didnt. But the fact is that NO ONE has scored points against either of those two teams all season and Johnny was clearly better during the last half of the season and got better with every game...as you would expect from a freshman AND from the offense as a whole, because everyone from the running backs, to the oline, WR's AND QB had to get used to a new offense. You would expect them to get better as the season went on.

LA Tech was Not a good D and they ran up and down the field on the improved aggie's. D to a tune of 57 points. Can you imagine what a 5th year senior can do to that D, Scary!
What does LA Tech's defense have to do with them scoring 57 points on us?
