Here's to a injury free bowl game!

No official, but I'll bet 20 bucks that says he'll miss the bowl game and first game of next year.
Playing golf, getting ready to play golf, or just finished playing or practicing on the range.
I am going to go with James on this one.
I may be reading in between the lines here, but my guess is that Cortez was found was a small amount of marijuana and nothing was found on Saunders. Just a theory?
He won't start but will come in second half.
.......as long as he's treated the same as any other player would be under the same/similar circumstances...........either miss the cb and see ya next year or play in cb.......no play in cb and miss a game next yr
I have heard through the grapevine that there are extenuating circumstances and that he more than likely will not be suspended. Of course, you never know.
The case against him seems to be pretty weak.
kid is gonna play.....even if he is gonna sit out a game, Stoops will sit him against some po'dunk nobody next year as opposed to the CB.
Would be interested in how you know this.
b/c it's college football....money is on the line....a bowl win is on the line....perception is on the line.
it's not like the masses are going to be dogging on Stoops for playing him. Who are the only people who care at this point? OU and A&M. OU isn't going to complain if he plays, and A&M may not be happy about it but it wouldn't really matter what the Ags thought anyway.
It's a win win for Stoops. If he punishes him next year then everyone say "see, he's getting punished"....and if he doesn't then there is no one to call him out and make a big stink about it anyway.
You're probably right -- I just thought that you had heard something specific about what Stoops had decided.
......you care, if there should be consistent standards.........inconsistence causes problems and dissension........
Is there any more inside information that you guys want to provide the aggies?
Thanks James. Really glad to hear as I really like his playmaker ability on the field. We will need that. Go Sooners!
I can not think of a single instance where Stoops has utilized a "pick an easy game" stragegy for suspension ... and unfortunately, there have been numerous suspensions during his tenure to compare against. Thus, I believe If Saunders is to be suspended from game play, it will be in the CB, perhaps for a half or quarter.

I just love it when outsiders think they know more about Stoops, what he is or isn't going to do and OUr program than we do. I have witnessed a lot of receivers, D-linemen sit and watch their teammates play ball during loses and in big games when they were needed badly. I guess some just hope and pray he does not play but to be honest if he does not we are kind of loaded at that position.
He wont start but he will be in on the second play.... ;)
I'm hell when I'm well.. And, I am never sick!
He will play and early
